Ever since it was established in 1982 in San Marino, Stone Island became known as the brand that redefined the common understanding of sportswear. It’s strength lies in its unique capacity to work on garments, via continuous experimentation with dyes and treatments created in the company’s laboratories.
For Spring / Summer 2019, Stone Island created a range of styles with GORE-TEX PACLITE product technology. The completely waterproof and highly breathable fabric is very lightweight and packable, allowing for the wearer to adapt to sudden weather changes easily.
Stone Island and the GORE-TEX brand approached Beinghunted. to create product shots with a focus on the advantages of GORE-TEX PACLITE product technology.
Concept / Idea
To highlight the easy packability of the jackets, inspiration for the product shots was taken from vacuum packed products. The styles were draped in between two pieces of glass, which were pushed together firmly. Drops of water on the glass was used to further emphasize the protective capabilities of the garments.
To this day, the images count to the most-engaging posts of the goretexstudio Instagram channel.
