The Class of Running w. New Balance

The many faces of the Berlin Marathon

In 2023, Beinghunted. launched its newest project, The Class Of – a portrait series depicting the many people who make the wheels go around at some of the world’s biggest cultural events. For its second edition, we partnered up with New Balance to take on the Berlin marathon.

The Class Of derives from the classic yearbook concept and was created to encapsulate people across various cultural settings. Alongside New Balance and Polish running crew, Swords Atheltics, Beinghunted. developed a programming for the second edition that amplified the concept. With New Balance as a main presenter of the Berlin Marathon, this project leveraged their position and program both before and after the event.

In addition to a pre-marathon morning run hosted at the Beinghunted. Gallery, we covered New Balance’s activities throughout their week-long programming, spanning from breakfasts to runs, to afterparties. The result was an extensive portrait series counting over 110 participants.

The nature of The Class Of allowed us to capture people from all corners of the world and across all industries, to present a personal depiction of what Berlin Marathon is all about.
